Spring, is that you?

Throw open the windows and let the light and fresh air in. We made it through another Wisconsin winter and couldn’t be happier! It may not be sandal weather yet, but we know it’s coming. There is so much to do, our nests need a little more than cleaning, they need some TLC.
Are your exterior lights needing replacement after the blizzard’s wind and flying debris? Or maybe you want a new façade with a bit of paint on the front door and shutters and some new lighting at the door? And the kitchen, with its dark countertops and low light that drove you crazy all winter? The bathrooms? Ditto. Our lighting designers have the ideas you need to make every space a bit brighter, bringing your style to light.
We love where we live and want it to feel welcoming and bright. Madison Lighting’s designers have ideas for mini-reni’s Those smaller projects are a great place to start, try out your ideas in a small space. But if what you need is a total remodel, our designers can create a complete lighting plan, helping you work your way through a bigger project. One thing’s for sure, good lighting changes everything! Replace the builder grade fixtures, and with our help layer your lighting to see your space more usable, more fun to live in.
To keep costs down, some builders rely exclusively on recessed lighting. When light shines directly downward, the space feels “cold.” Adding pendants or a chandelier that scatters light makes everything feel warmer and draws the color you’ve added into the room. Undercounter lighting adds task lighting and splashes light forward to your hands, as well as back toward the backsplash. It immediately “adds” workspace. Bathrooms get the same effect when we add vanity lighting over the mirror or sconces to the side of mirrors. It’s an instant improvement!
Outdoor spaces need the same care. Gentle exterior lighting along your walks and carriage lights at your front door are welcoming and bring your style outside as a hint to what you’ve chosen indoors. We suggest you start with an expert. Our advice costs you no more and saves on costly mistakes as we help you choose lighting for every budget. See you in the showroom soon!
